The Ford RS200 arrived late to Group B but made an immediate impression. Mid-engined, four-wheel-drive and built around a composite body, it was Ford's attempt to take on Peugeot and Lancia at their own game. Stig Blomqvist and Malcolm Wilson showed its pace before tragedy brought Group B to an end in 1986. Only 200 road cars were ever built — making it one of the rarest and most extraordinary machines of the era.
